1. File and Folder Sharing
With SHIELDrive, you can easily share files and folders.
File and Folder Link Sharing
- Select the file or folder you want to share and choose [Copy Link] from the right-click menu.
- Share the copied link with other users via email or messenger.
Sharing links to deleted files and folders
- If the files and folders shared via the link are deleted, the message 'The file or folder has been deleted, and the specified path does not exist' will appear on the page.
2. Collaborative Editing
In SHIELDrive, multiple users can edit files simultaneously.
Start collaborative editing
- Files uploaded to SHIELDrive can be collaboratively edited through [Open with App].
- Co-editing through [Open with app] is only possible with MS documents, and co-editing is not supported for [Open with app] that is supported by Hancom.
3. Comment Function
In SHIELDrive, you can add comments to files and folders to collaborate.
Add comment
- Select a file or folder, and then choose the [Comments] tab from the right slide.
- Enter the comment content and click [Register].
Comment Management
- You can edit or delete existing comments.
- Select the [Edit] or [Delete] button for the comment.
4. Managing Share Settings
In the SHIELDrive personal vault, you can manage sharing settings.
Check sharing settings
- After clicking the file, you can check the file sharing settings in the details slide on the right.
- This setting is automatically configured when copying file links, and it can also be set manually.
- Shared files display a share icon on the file.
5. Setting Up Share Role
Setting Up Shared Storage Roles

Creating shared storage.

Add a new role in [Permissions].

Set up basic information, members, conditions, and permissions, and create roles.
- The role of the shared storage is limited to one.
Setting Up Shared Folder Roles

Create a shared folder.

The owner permissions for the shared folder are automatically generated based on storage usage permissions.
- The owner's permissions can only be modified from the admin page (Admin Page > Storage Management > Modify Storage Roles).

Creates member roles for the shared folder.

Set the name of the member role, configure the members, and set the permissions.
- Member permissions cannot be set beyond owner permissions.
- If a member's permissions are changed to exceed the owner's permissions, the member's permissions will automatically sync with the owner's new permissions.
Shared Folder Permissions
- [View]: Sets the permission to view the file. If only the 'View' permission is set, editing is not possible.
- [Edit]: Set permissions to edit the file. If the 'Edit' permission is set, collaborative editing is also possible.
- [Upload]: Set permissions to upload files and folders.
- [Download]: Set permissions to download files and folders.
- [Move/Copy within Work Folder]: Set the move/copy permissions within the configured shared folder.
- [Move/Copy to Another Work Folder]: Sets the permissions for moving/copying to all folders.
- [File/Folder Deletion]: Sets permissions to delete files and folders.
- [Usage Period]: Set the usage period for the sub-role. Roles that have passed the usage period will be deactivated.
Member permission synchronization failed
- If the synchronization of member permissions fails due to changes in owner permissions, a retry process is provided for the member permissions that failed to synchronize.
